Coronavirus Reopening

LBC family,

I hope that this finds you and your families well. Thank you for your continued support of our actions in response to this unprecedented challenges that COVID placed before us. The Board of Elders have been praying and seeking the Lord's guidance on regathering as a church body.  By faith, we can act with the power, love, and self-discipline that comes from God as we anticipate the joy, fellowship, and mission that God has for us as we come back together to celebrate our Savior!

This time has been a challenge and a blessing.  We believe that the Lord has given us guidance and direction and a clear sense of vision. We have seen the development of our discipleship ministry.  God has given us a clear sense of the priority of personal and corporate worship as a priority in everything that we do. We have seen the development of our Tuesday night prayer group.  God has given us a compelling ministry in our COVID response.  God has been so faithful in the middle of these uncertain times to grant us a clear way forward and beautiful sense of His presence in our church family.

AND….

We are so EXCITED TO REGATHER!!!!!   We are anticipating opening our doors for those who are ready to regather on Sunday the 21st of June.  For those who are not ready, our online services will still be available!

There will be some changes and we wanted to make you aware of those as we prayerfully move toward reopening.

  1. There will be masks available for you when you come to church
  2. Our greeting staff will be wearing masks
  3. There will be hand sanitizer available throughout the building
  4. For the time being, there will be no BridgeKids to include nursery
  5. The seating will be arranged to optimize social distancing
  6. Offering plates will not be passed
  7. BYOC (bring your own coffee)

Here are some ways you can help us create the safest environment possible:

  1. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  2. Stay home when you are sick
  3. Cover your cough or sneeze with a  tissue
  4. Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds

The Church is not stopped, certainly not defeated.  The mission has been steady and God's presence has been keenly felt.  I am sure that the unstoppable mission of God will offer new and amazing possibilities as we move into this next chapter!

Looking forward to seeing you on the 21st!
