Joshua: Stones

March 8, 2015 Speaker: Joshua Vernoy Series: Joshua

Topic: Biblical Passage: Joshua 4:1–4:24

Joshua 4:1-24
The goal wasn’t about moving twelve stones, it was community commitment.
Your idolatry is mostly the symptom of lack of community commitment.
The heavy lifting of the Christian life is remembering where the power comes from. There is a strong link between standing firm and resting.
We are created to know God and enjoy Him forever.
Our job is to stand firm in the power of God by resting in the person of Jesus.
Develop an awe on who God is, to what He has done.
Remembering is reliving.
The way you prioritize you life is a litmus test of how loyal you are to the Kingdom and also it is your greatest joy.
The stones are a marker for God’s mighty hand.
Fear the Lord forever.
