Genesis 2:18 (ESV)
18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone;”
Psalm 133:1 (TNIV)
1How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
Matthew 18:20 (ESV)
20 For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
1 John 1:7 (ESV)
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
John 13:34–35 (ESV)
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. 35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
 1. Our tribe and affinity is built on a common relationship to Jesus
... “you are my disciples”...
2. Our tribe’s distinction is love
... “love one another”...
3. We love because he first loved us
... “as I have loved you”...
4. Our tribe has a purpose
... “so that the world may know”...
 1. Do you want to do the dishes
2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Galatians 6:2–3 (ESV)
2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
 2. Check the ego
Galatians 5:13–15 (The Message)
It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out—in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then?
